Fundraising for the trip!

We kick started our fundraising in Mull with a Coffee Evening in Tobermory in April. Myself, Hannah Noble and Michael McKenna (the Mull contingent of the group) were AMAZED by the generosity of the community in supporting our project, helping us organise the event and in turning out to spend their pennies! We raised a great starting fund of £1400! 

I sang at the Easter service in Ulva where the collection was very kindly donated to the Malawi Fund. I was overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people who added to my Justgiving page (http://www.justgiving.com/katrina-MacLean)

We climbed Ben More on the 3rd of June, which was an awesome day! The sun was out and it was roasting as we struggled up all 3169 ft! Babbs and Gus Whyte were our saviours by cooking up a feast at the top of the Ben! The BBQ was definitely motivation to get up there as fast as possible! Waiting at the bottom was Mummy MacLean hosting a roadside champagne reception along with Janet and Margaret (thank you for the lovely certificates) and our lucky mascot jessie!  We really could not have asked for a better day! A big shout out to the Whyte family for providing the amazing BBQ food! My sponsor sheets raised an incredible £1251!!!!!!! 

Thank you SOOOO MUCH to everyone that has donated money or supported me in my fundraising efforts! You guys are AH-MAZE-ING!
